Unite Lebanon Youth Project is a non-profit organization that promotes tolerance, respect, and awareness building amongst the youth of Lebanon from varying backgrounds to transform lives and achieve lasting change. By instilling in children, youth and community members, democratic values, free expression and equality we aim to reach a specific end: creating one united Lebanon. Our programs aim to bridge the gaps and break down the barriers created by many years of conflict and isolation. Through offering age, gender and developmentally appropriate educational, artistic and athletic programs, we invite all to participate, learn, make new friendships and experience our values first hand. ULYP's diverse and interdisciplinary approach of using quick impact activities, broadens the horizons of its beneficiaries by including programs catered to all different age groups. With the growing amount of programs and partners, ULYP hopes to reach out to a larger scope of the lesser served communities, while continuing to maintain the high quality of its programs. ULYP's doors are open to all underserved and underprivileged children living in Lebanon regardless of race, religion, gender or nationality.

The marginalized youth and children living in Lebanon do not have access to youth-friendly, age-appropriate, core educationally- supportive services. In addition to this, the high level of animosity amongst them as a result of their perpetual isolation, has fostered a generation unequipped with the skills, values, and basic necessities needed for individual success and furthermore proliferates unfulfilled potential, frustration and an ever increasing gap between the people of this small country. Unequal opportunities for education, livelihood and access to democratic values lead only to an increase in violent activities, behavioral disorders and a divided society. Thus ULYP's goal is to address these problems at their root by providing this underserved population with the education and services they lack in an arena that will allow them to develop and grow into responsible, tolerant, and understanding world citizens all the while empowering them to become successful leaders and advocates for the ULYP values within their communities and beyond.
